Let me get one thing out of the way first.

I’ve never been a bride.

There. We said it.

So why on earth have I created a wedding website?

Because while I might not have planned my own wedding, I am completely and utterly obsessed with planning events.

I have events management credentials, a background spanning beauty, fashion and business, and years of experience creating content and building online publications. I also already run a Christmas blog — so you could say elaborate celebrations, beautiful details and planning things months before any reasonable person would are already very much my territory.

Why Blossom Brides?

I’ve always been fascinated by everything that goes into creating an event.

Not simply how something looks, but how all the pieces work together: the concept, the budget, the clothes, the beauty, the decorations, the timings, the tiny details nobody notices until they’re missing, and ultimately how the whole thing makes people feel.

And weddings might just be the ultimate event.

Blossom Brides is my opportunity to look at them from a slightly different perspective.

I’m not here to tell you what a bride should do.

I’m here to explore what’s possible.

Weddings don’t have to come from a template

I love beautiful things. I love fashion. I love beauty. I love an extravagant detail.

But I also love budgets, practical planning and finding clever ways of making an idea actually work.

That’s the combination you’ll find here.

We’ll talk wedding dresses and lipstick alongside budgets and planning. We’ll explore flowers, bridesmaids, gifts, décor and celebrations. There’ll be affordable finds sitting happily alongside the occasional glorious splurge.

And there will be plenty of colour.

Because somewhere along the way, weddings became awfully beige.

Blossom Brides isn’t afraid of pink. Or red. Or sparkle. Or personality.

A different kind of bridal voice

I’m approaching the wedding world as an events person, a beauty and fashion writer, a businesswoman and someone who simply adores a good celebration.

I’ll research. I’ll ask questions. I’ll discover brilliant businesses. I’ll look at trends without assuming you need to follow them. And when something falls outside my expertise, I’d much rather bring in people who genuinely know their stuff than pretend I know everything.

Most importantly, Blossom Brides isn’t about creating the perfect wedding.

It’s about creating one that feels like you.

Traditional? Wonderful.

Colourful? Come in.

Tiny ceremony? Absolutely.
